Medix bridges between its patients and the complex medical world, creating a path to optimal treatment

Medix is an international medical management company, established in 2006 by CEO Sigal Atzmon and Medical Director Dr. Asher Barack.
The medical world is constantly shifting and developing, eluding the understanding of the average patient. Medix serves as a buffer, conveying expertise to its patients, allowing them to take full advantage of what modern medicine has to offer.
Medix steers patients towards quality treatment in over 80 countries by using a proprietary database of over 3,000 specialist doctors and 1,500 leading facilities.
Our professional database contains updated quality data regarding leading medical facilities, top specialists and clinical research. An in-house research department is charged with cultivating and developing the database in a way that allows ease of access to Medix doctors, nurses and case workers. Relying on these resources ensures that our team creates a supportive, informed, evidence based environment for our clients.
The Medix group offices are located in Tel Aviv, London and Hong Kong. A range of services are provided through these locations to private and corporate clients around the world.

Personal Medical Case Management

Case Management assists patients suffering from complex medical condition to obtain the  most appropriate treatment for them. A senior specialist, a nurse and when needed a social worker are assigned to manage the case. The team reviews the patient's medical reports and test results, conducts interdisciplinary consultations with leading specialists and informs the patient of the resulting recommendations. Our medical support continues during treatment with the medical team staying in contact and supervising the quality of treatment.

Admissions Specialist

Our admissions service allows hospitalized patients to access second opinions and specialist guidance while admitted. The admission specialist reviews the medical information, liaises with the treating team and even visits the patient in person when needed. This additional opinion helps confirm the given diagnosis and it's derived treatment. Contact with a specialist physician provides clear and comprehensive information, facilitating informed medical decisions.

Emotional Support

The goal of this service is to emotionally empower our patients and their family through every step of the process; from diagnosis and decision making through to actual treatment and its consequences. Medix psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists all share a deep understanding of the challenges that are part and parcel of disease; weakened identity, anxiety, feeling betrayed by your own body, coping with physical changes as well as family difficulties.

Medical Opinions

Medix specialist opinions are provided to institutional players such as corporates and insurance companies for the purpose of health related policy decisions. Our opinions span across anything healthcare related and medical legal issues. All recommendations are first cleared by the Medix Scientific Board.

Medix consultancy services pertain to a range of topics such as health safety, occupational health, risk assessment, health risk minimization schemes, wellness promotion, periodical surveys, and healthcare related management consulting.
